Gulf Stream School offers a variety of summer camps and activities, both on and off campus.

Covid-19 Summer Programs Protocol
Consistent with our Covid-19 protocols during the school year, we will be continuing those measures throughout the summer which will include the following:

After Camp Program (ACP) is offered in addition to the all camps from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 pm. ACP is open to children entering Pre-K through Grade 6.

Fun in the Sun

Students Entering Grades PreK – Grade 1
Session I: June 14-18 / Monday-Friday
Session II: June 21-25 / Monday-Friday
Session III: June 28-July 2 / Monday-Friday
8:30am – 12:30pm or 8:30am – 2:30pm
Drop off begins at 8:15am

    $275 per week for half day
    $395 per week for full day

  • After Camp Program

    After Camp Program (ACP) is offered in addition to the Fun In The Sun camp from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 pm. ACP is open to children entering PreK through
    Grade 6. $125 per week or $30 per day

    Activities will take place in the Pre-Primary classrooms as well on the playground and in the Sylvester Field House and campus classrooms.

    Come and join Miss Emma and Miss Elise for some FUN IN THE SUN!! The children will love cooking, music and movement, crafts, picnics, dramatic play, stories, bubbles, in-house field trips and much more. The week concludes with Friday “Water Day”. All campers should bring a morning snack, lunch, and water bottle.

Summer Breeze

Students Entering Grades 2 – Grade 6

  • After Camp Program

    After Camp Program (ACP) is offered in addition to the Summer Breeze camp from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 pm. ACP is open to children entering PreK through grade 6. $125 per week or $30 per day.

    Students will utilize the Julien Arts and Innovation Center, Sylvester Field House, Arcaini Family Art Rooms and playground as well as embark on off campus field trips.

Musical Theatre Camp

  • Camp Philosophy

    Musical Theatre Camp is designed to provide students the opportunity to gain confidence on stage, improve their theatrical skills, and learn the importance of working together as a team to put on a production at the end of each week of camp.

    Students will utilize the Clough Chapel, Sylvester Field House, and Crocker Pavilion.

  • Camp Activities

    Campers will have the chance to embrace their love for the performing arts through acting, dancing, singing, improv games, and crafts. Each Friday the students will put on a performance that will be recorded and sent to the families of the campers.

    Activities will take place in the Pre-Primary and Kindergarten classrooms as well on the playground, Armour Field, Sylvester Field House, and Julien Arts and Innovation Center.

  • Camp Activities

    A structured program of creative play, arts and crafts, music, language activities, and outside games will be provided. Children will have daily circle time during which readiness concepts, such as, letters and sounds, rhyming, colors, shapes, numbers, and math strategies, will be presented and explored. We will use manipulatives, read alouds, and hands-on activities to enhance our learning. The week concludes with Friday “Water Day”. All campers should bring a morning snack, lunch, and water bottle. Children should wear play clothes and sneakers every day.

Endless Summer Camp

    During Endless Summer, students will review academic material in a fun way to boost their knowledge and solidify the previous year’s skills. Lessons will include a mix of reading, math and STEM activities along with time on the playground and in the Sylvester Field House. The week concludes with Friday “Water Day”. All campers should bring a morning snack, lunch, and water bottle.

Academic Enrichment Camp

  • Camp Activities

    Developmental and Enrichment Math – The math program is designed to meet the needs of each student. Some will review and practice the topics presented during the past school year, while others will be challenged by new topics. For each, the daily work will be varied, incorporating technology, projects, manipulatives, and traditional textbook work. Developmental and Enrichment Reading/Language Arts – The English program will be tailored to the needs of each student. Students will work on improving their vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. To enrich their knowledge, the students will face challenges in writing strategies, critical thinking, and analysis.Students will attend four classes each day with a break for recess. Most will take two English and two math sessions daily, although this can be modified for those who need extra work in either.

    Mrs. Tkac will help students get a head start on the coming school year by teaching proper note-taking and listening skills, careful organization of notebooks and lockers, and other tasks which will prepare them for a smooth transition to Middle School.
