Gulf Stream School is located along A1A in Gulf Stream, FL, a small town between Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.
Our Origins & Location
Established in 1938, the school began in a converted barn on a polo field with 30 students. Unique to GSS is it’s proximity to the beach and Atlantic Ocean, directly across route A1A from the campus. The beach acts as an extension of the campus providing a vast array of educational and recreational opportunities, including surfing after school on Fridays.
Safety is Our Priority
While the School is located in a beautiful and serene residential neighborhood, campus safety and security is a top priority. The Town of Gulf Stream police station is less than a mile from campus. Its officers provide daily patrols and are present at drop-off and pick-up. The School is also protected by an armed security guard. The campus has cameras throughout and buildings are outfitted with hurricane impact windows and doors. Evacuation and lockdown drills are practiced routinely.
