Applications & Admissions

Gulf Stream School welcomes applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds and talents.

Admission Criteria

Admission decisions at Gulf Stream School are based on a comprehensive review of records from previously attended schools, standardized test scores, and recommendations from teachers and administrators. For students applying to Grades One through Eight, the process includes observations by Gulf Stream School teachers of the applicant’s academic and social interactions during a scheduled visit day on campus. Additionally, applicants to Grades One through Eight may be required to take the WISC IV (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children).

Gulf Stream School values diversity and welcomes applicants with a variety of talents, interests, and perspectives, without regard to race, religion, gender, economic background, or national or ethnic origin. As a family-oriented School, preference is given to siblings, children of alumni, and faculty children.
