Grade 8 students are required to read THREE books over the summer. They are also required to write the first draft of their Eighth Grade Speech. Guidelines are as follows:
1. Read Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds.
2. Read either Dry by Neal Shusterman or Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. (Choose one of the two.)
3. Write the first draft of the Eighth Grade Speech. Follow the guidelines that were reviewed in the spring with Mrs. Bianco and posted in Google Classroom.
